This workshop is a physical introduction to the contemporary movement base utilized in
push/FOLD. Expanding on the foundations of ballet technique, martial arts, and athletics, we introduce the importance of our organs to the application power in movement. Through athletic phrase-work and partnering exercises, participants learn of postural-visceral articulations required for the persistence of momentum, and the translation into momentum-based choreography, and dynamic partnering.
This is a professional level workshop intended for participants with mid to high level partnering and weight-sharing experience. Dancers should expect floor-work, mid to high level movement, and working with partners of varied genders and sizes.
We are actively seeking dancers with a strong line, adept in non-traditional partnering,
contemporary movement, and athletic ground-work. Interested dancers are highly encouraged to attend.

Class size is limited. Advanced registration is recommended. Please contact: to register.
